    We’re Hiring: Country Manager – Rwanda  | Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator

    At Harambee, we’re not your typical organisation. We’re a dynamic team on a mission to solve youth unemployment through powerful partnerships. Now, we’re looking for a Country Manager to lead our Rwanda operations and help us scale our impact.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Provide strategic and inspirational leadership to a high-performing, values-driven team in Rwanda.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations including recruitment, performance management, and professional development.
    • Lead the development and execution of Harambee Rwanda’s country strategy aligned with national priorities and Harambee’s global vision.
    • Identify and drive opportunities to scale impact and deepen Harambee’s relevance in the Rwandan labor market.
    • Build and sustain trusted relationships with government, private sector, funders, and development partners.
    • Represent Harambee Rwanda in national and international forums, conferences, and partnership platforms.
    • Lead and expand fundraising efforts, cultivating relationships with donors, foundations, and agencies.
    • Develop compelling funding proposals and ensure strong stewardship and reporting.
    • Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
    • Track and report on performance metrics to assess impact and effectiveness.
    • Be a key advocate for Harambee’s mission and model across the ecosystem.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in social enterprise, nonprofit, or public/private sectors.
    • Proven track record in stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and team leadership.
    • Deep understanding of Rwanda’s economic development and youth employment landscape.
    • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Fluency in English (Kinyarwanda and/or French a plus).
