Job vacancies at ISCO – Apply by 05 June 2025

In an increasingly globalized and technologically dynamic labor market, the need for a unified framework to classify and analyze occupations has become paramount. The International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO), developed by the International Labour Organization (ILO), serves as a comprehensive international system for organizing job-related information. Its primary aim is to facilitate international comparability of occupational data, support employment policy planning, labor market research, educational curricula alignment, and the implementation of decent work strategies globally.

Initially launched in 1958 and revised over the years—with the most recent version being ISCO-08—the classification provides a hierarchical structure that groups jobs into categories based on the type of work performed and the skill level and specialisation required
